Mercedes GLK 2009.

Mercedes-Benz has not be waiting till the 2008 Beijing China Auto Show that is scheduled to start on April 20 in Beijing, the Chinese and published first images and details of the new version of small crossover SUV - Mercedes-Benz GLK.
The smallest SUV ever to come from Mercedes shed its camouflage to reveal styling details and confirm some basic specifications. Built on the same chassis as the compact C-Class sedan, the GLK shows a wheelbase and overall length similar to the C-Class. This should put the GLK right in line with other entry-level luxury sport-utilities like the BMW X3 and Land Rover LR2.

Chassis-related changes over the C-class 4Matic include a new steering rack, bigger brakes, and a modified independent suspension that permits more wheel travel for extra axle articulation. A handling package (adaptive dampers, quicker steering, fatter antiroll bars) will be available, and wheel sizes should top out at twenty inches. Curb weight should fall between 3400 and 3700 pounds.

The U.S. market likely will see the following models: the GLK280 V-6 4Matic (228 hp); the GLK350 V-6 4Matic (268 hp); and the GLK320 CDI V-6 4Matic (221 hp). All will be fitted with a seven-speed manu-matic. Of course, no Mercedes-Benz lineup would be complete without an AMG version, so the near-500-hp GLK63 AMG 4Matic should come along shortly thereafter.

Nice information by you. It must be helpful for me to know about some features of Mercedes GLK.
I would like to bring it for my family after considering the features and price tags of it.
